Herman Verbist was pleased to participate in the First Budapest Arbitration Days on 23 and 24 February 2026 organised by the Permanent Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and focusing on the evolving relationship between EU law and arbitration, sports arbitration, investment arbitration, expert evidence in project disputes, expedited proceedings and artificial intelligence. He participated as a member of the Panel on 23 February 2026 discussing about “New Technologies in Arbitration – Electronic Awards, Artificial Intelligence & beyond“ with Richard Schmidt as moderator and Anna Joubin-Bret, Ádam Boóc, Réka Papp, Andrew Pullen and Reinmar Wolff as co-panellists.
